Some of My Latest Designs
Designs, visualizations, and transformations — from custom additions and renovations to detailed 3D renderings and material studies. Each project is crafted to enhance function, beauty, and livability, with a focus on smart planning, realistic visualizations, and seamless execution.
Waterville - Riverfront Poolscape
Set high above the river’s edge, this property began as a sharply sloped backyard that felt disconnected and unusable. The goal was to transform it into a functional, layered poolscape that works with the terrain — not against it.
Using slope mapping, elevation modeling, and strategic grading, we carved a series of natural gathering spaces into the hillside and designed a custom freeform gunite pool, slide, stone deck, new circulation pathways, and direct river access.
Bowling Green - Outdoor Living Pavilion
Explore ScapeSketch’s custom outdoor pavilion in Bowling Green — a 17×20′ timber-frame structure with full-height stone fireplace, bar seating, and seamless connection to the pool deck.
Ottawa Hills - Primary Suite Remodel
A complete second-floor rework that turns a dated layout into a calm, highly functional retreat. The new plan adds a steam shower with thoughtful storage, a soaking tub niche, custom vanities, and a dialed-in walk-in closet. We paired warm wood tones with classic marble to keep the space bright but grounded.
Perrysburg - Charming Addition
A full design transformation by ScapeSketch, seamlessly blending historic Perrysburg charm with modern functionality. This project features a new primary suite addition along with a spacious kitchen and laundry renovation, carefully designed to enhance structural flow, optimize layout, and provide 3D visualizations for precise decision-making.
Sylvania Twp. - Contemporary Residence
For this modern custom home, designed by AZD Architects and built by Valle Homes, ScapeSketch provided detailed 3D visualization services to help refine the design and enhance decision-making throughout the project.
Sylvania - Outdoor Living Pavilion
This pavilion was designed around how the clients actually live — grilling, smoking, hosting, and spending most of their weekends outdoors. The kitchen isn’t an add-on; it’s a fully planned cooking station laid out for someone who really uses it.
The footprint allows dining, prep, and bar seating to happen at the same time without crowding, and the built-in appliances are intentionally arranged to keep workflow clean and functional. Heavy timber framing defines the space, while open spans keep sightlines across the patio, lawn, and pool room.
